GRATITUDE CHALLENGE

Naija Mom nominated me for the Gratitude Challenge and I accepted. Thank you so much Naija Mom, I am hugely grateful. This challenge has a few rules, one of the rules states that the nominee should list five things that they are grateful for. So here they are, five things that I am really really grateful for.

  1. I am really grateful and happy that I am alive and well.
  2. I am thankful for my family both nuclear and extended.
  3. I thank God Almighty for my beautiful, smart and healthy kids.
  4. I thank God for good health and progress so far.
  5. I am grateful that God has seen me through one of the darkest moments of my life, he has been so faithful.
The second rule is that every nominee has to nominate five other people to participate in the "Gratitude Challenge"
  1. Naija Mom
  2. Favour Moyse
  3. Sassy Mum
  4. Carina Jacob
  5. Chinco Bee
Gratitude in simple terms is the quality of being thankful as well as readiness to show appreciation. We have more than a gazillion things to be thankful for. So many people started 2015 with us but they are not alive to see the month of November. Some are confined in a wheelchair or in the hospital terribly sick. Some even started the month of November but they could not make it to the end. I lost my friend on Thursday, she was just 25 years old...her 26th birthday was just 5 weeks away. She left behind a young husband and a handsome 6 month old boy that will never get to know his mum. She didn't even live to celebrate her one year wedding anniversary. I thank God that I have eyes that can see, I can walk with my legs comfortably, I have more than enough to eat and drink, I can breathe without help, hear, talk without any problems at all. I cannot go on and on because this page won't be enough. God is wonderful indeed and I cannot stop thanking him.

The third rule of this challenge says the nominee should display a simple picture of gratitude so that's mine up there. I love plantain and I am so grateful that I can afford to buy it anytime I want and I can eat it in peace without any issues at all. The smile on my face anytime I sight plantain is epic. Lol!!!!

So Here Are The Rules;

1. You have 72 hours to accept the challenge when you are nominated. Write or say 5 things you are grateful for on any social media platform. (just a day)
2.Display a picture of gratitude. A picture of something simple that makes (or made) you smile in a day. It is not an opportunity to show off how rich you are. Let it be something that is simple (and inexpensive) yet a blessing. Catch my drift? OK.
3.Nominate 5 other people in your circle. Ensure that you inform them immediately.‎

  3. Participating in the Gratitude Challenge can have numerous benefits for individuals' mental, emotional, and even physical well-being. By focusing on the things they are grateful for, participants shift their attention away from negativity and stress, promoting a more positive and optimistic outlook.
